While meditation is one key to a mindful life, there are other keys that improve the quality of one’s life, relationships, sense of clarity, and meaning. Who is this course for?

Everyone can benefit from practicing mindfulness, regardless of cultural, economic, religious, or spiritual background. Drawing from decades of training, personal practice, education, and application in daily life, we provide you with skills that are practical, accessible, and universal.

Whether you’ve been practicing mindfulness for a long time or just starting out, this course will offer you specific tools and relevant teachings. No prior study of mindfulness or experience in meditation is required. If you have been practicing mindfulness and meditation, this course will deepen and enhance your practice.

Customize your mindfulness practice to align with your own deepest values. The Mindful Life Program and teachings encourage you to identify your own values and learn to apply practices to live in alignment with them. In other words, we do not ask you to conform to a pre-determined set of values or ideals. Instead, we encourage you to get to know yourself on a daily basis, discover your own values, and determine a daily program that sets a course toward a more enriching and meaningful life.

John Bruna

John Bruna is the co-founder of the Mindful Life Program™ and Mindfulness in Recovery®.  In addition to his extensive training and practice as a counselor, educator, and former Buddhist monk, John’s wisdom is drawn from his direct personal experience of transforming his own life from homelessness to a life of helping others.

  • After completing your registration, look for your welcome email with instructions. If you don’t find it immediately, check your junk mail or in Gmail, your Promotions tab.
