Join Laura Bartels, mindfulness teacher and Executive Director of Mindful Life Program, for an introduction to mindfulness and how to effectively bring more attention and intention to the journey of being a parent. Mindfulness supports us in remembering what is meaningful to us. It provides practical skills to cultivate a meaningful life despite the details and schedules of our lives as parents which can overshadow what’s truly important. Mindfulness provides resources and tools that help us show up in a way we feel good about, as a parent and in our adult relationships. As parents, when we live more mindfully, we improve our own lives as well as that of our family’s. The workshop is appropriate for parents of all aged children as well as future parents and grandparents.
Thursday, June 15 and 22, 6 – 8 pm
