Co-founder John Bruna will offer a free public talk at Colorado College House in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
It is time to relax, breathe, be present and live a balanced, meaningful life. In this busy, multitasking world, we are often stressed, tired and have difficulty finding inner peace, joy and meaning in our lives. The practice of mindfulness is very accessible and provides you with the tools to cultivate inner peace and the ability to make healthy choices. Instead of being caught up in distraction, thoughts, worries, and life’s daily activity list, reacting to the events of the day, mindfulness empowers you to cultivate attention which creates more choice and the ability to initiate and respond to life.
With a background as a counselor, educator, former Buddhist monk, mindfulness and dharma teacher, John draws on his diverse experiences with warmth, candor, humor and wisdom.
The talk will be followed by a question and answer time.
All are welcome. Offered by donation.
John will also be facilitating a mindfulness course November 7-9, 2014. Learn more.
